How I can help...
Astrology
Astrology gives us a symbolic map of who we really are and why we experience life the way we do. It is a map of your soul... Through your natal chart — combined with coaching and psychology — I can help you understand yourself on a deeper level and turn that insight into real, practical growth.
What a Natal Chart Is
Your natal chart (sometimes called a birth chart) is like a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment and place you were born.
It shows where the planets were and how they connect, creating a unique blueprint of your personality, patterns, strengths, and challenges.
Think of it as your own personal instruction manual for understanding your emotions, relationships, purpose, and life cycles.
While it doesn’t necessarily “predict” your future, it does highlight tendencies, motivations, and potentials — giving you insight into why you feel or act the way you do.
How I Combine Astrology, Coaching & Psychology
Understand yourself deeply: Use your natal chart to uncover hidden patterns, emotional needs, and inner drives.
Heal old wounds: Explore past experiences through both astrological symbolism and psychological insight.
Practical action: Turn chart insights into clear, achievable steps and habits.
Relationship guidance: Learn how your chart influences your connections with others, and how to improve them.
Purpose discovery: Identify your soul themes and align your work and life with them.
Emotional balance: Gain tools (like breathwork, grounding, and mindfulness) to stay centered through astrological cycles.

The Natal Chart

A map of the planets in the sky when we were born - and so much more...
We are all born with a "sun sign" which is astronomically where the sun is in the sky from our perspective on earth.
That is if we look at to the sky on March 18th we would see the constellation Pisces behind the sun. So you would say you have a Pisces sun sign.^
The Big Three
What most people new to astrology don't know is where the other planets were in the sky when they were born. Your moon being of the utmost importance along with your rising sign - the eastern point on the horizon at your time of birth.
These three placements - you Sun, Moon and Rising Sign (or Ascendent) are called the Big Three and form a massive part in your personality.
The Sun – The Core of Who We Are
The Sun represents our core identity – the part of us that says “I am.” It’s how we see ourselves, how we wish to be seen, and the light we radiate into the world. The Sun is the hero of our chart – the main character in our life story – expressing our individuality, vitality, and creative purpose.
It is symbolic of the Father archetype - it shows where we’re heading, our purpose and the direction in which our soul is growing. It is progressive and dynamic, always unfolding through life as we discover who we truly are.
Example: Sun in Virgo - ♍ expresses purpose through service, refinement, and practical intelligence. Virgo’s solar path wants to bring order to chaos by analysing, improving and perfecting systems. The challenge is to balance doing with being and to realise that perfection is about being whole, not flawless…
The Ascendent (Rising Sign) - The Pathway
This shows us our pathway towards the sun. If the sun is our destination in life - then the ascendent is the journey, the pathway towards our self-actualization and how we do it.
It could be seen as our outward mask, persona or imago. It is how we show up in the world, our outward personality and the way in which we tackle everyday.
It is how we perceive the world and make sense of it. It is the gateway to which we express our soul and in how we understand it.
Example: Ascendent in Pisces- ♓ approaches life through empathy, imagination, and sensitivity. They perceive the world through felt intuition and have a way about them that is compassionate and soulful. They will be spiritually connected yet must learn to ground themselves to achieve the purpose of their sun.
The Moon - Our Innate and Instinctive Self
The Moon represents our inner world – our emotions, instincts, and the way we nurture and protect ourselves and others. It is linked to our past, our family, and the unconscious patterns we carry – especially those formed in childhood.
The Moon reflects the mother archetype - our need for safety and belonging, and the intuitive knowing held within the body. It symbolises home, roots, and emotional memories stored in the body.
While these familiar feelings can comfort us, if left unexamined, they may also hold us back. Awareness and acceptance allow us to integrate the Moon and move forward.
The Moon is instinctive, cyclical, and receptive – ever changing, yet deeply consistent in its emotional core.
Example: Moon in Leo - ♌ needs to creatively express their emotional world and be seen to feel safe, seen and nourished. They feel fulfilled by sharing warmth, joy and affection with others. When this is witnessed and acknowledged by others they thrive - though if ignored they may be deeply wounded and feel unworthy.
The Sun and Moon - Yang and Yin
While the Sun describes what we want and where we’re going, the Moon shows what we need and where we’ve come from.
While the sun may be seen as our core identity - that identity can also be viewed as something the deeper Self has created. That is - we are more than just our sun. At a deeper level of being we have what we might call our soul or psyche or daimon… This essence not only seeks expression through us - it cannot be denied…
The sun works as a marker toward understanding the soul. Though this journey must also incorporate other aspects of our self - and the Moon is a big part of that.
Together they form the dance of our inner world:
The Sun shows our doing – our conscious self and creative expression.
The Moon shows our being – our emotional nature and what we need to feel safe.
When integrated we come to know our soul and its purpose. We cannot reach the heights and brightness of the sun without honouring the needs of the moon.
While the Sun calls us forward into purpose and growth - the masculine or Yang energies, the feminine or Yin energies of the Moon pull us inward toward reflection, rest and nourishment of the soul. A never ending cycle of expansion and rest to reach the potential of the individual.
When the Moon is held and understood, the Sun can truly shine.
In this way, the Moon is seen as the Great Mother who keeps us safe and nourished, while the Sun is the Great Father, calling us toward the sky – growing into who we are meant to be.
How we work with both in Coaching.
To fully lean into our Sun we must honour the moon and work with the gifts of our ascendent.
If we had the three placements above.
Sun in Virgo - ♍
Ascendent in Pisces- ♓
Moon in Leo - ♌
With a Sun in Virgo (♍︎), Ascendant in Pisces (♓︎), and Moon in Leo (♌︎), we might see a person who is ultimately driven to bring order, improvement, and service into the world (Virgo Sun).
They approach life through compassion, imagination, and spiritual sensitivity (Pisces Ascendant). Whilst at their core they need to feel seen, valued, and appreciated for the warmth they bring (Leo Moon).
In coaching, we’d help this person bridge their emotional world (Moon) with their purpose (Sun) — honouring Leo Moon’s need for recognition, using the Pisces Rising empathy to connect deeply with others, and then channelling it all into Virgo’s calling to serve and refine.
When these three work in harmony, the individual’s inner needs, outward expression, and life purpose become one coherent and fulfilling path.
Precession of the Equinoxes.
^ We’re all born with a Sun sign, which shows where the Sun was in the sky at the moment of our birth — from our perspective here on Earth. For example, if you were born on March 18th, the Sun appears in the section of the sky traditionally linked with Pisces, so you’d be a Pisces Sun. Over thousands of years, Earth’s axis has slowly wobbled — a movement called the Precession of the Equinoxes. This means the constellations behind the Sun have shifted slightly since astrology began.
However, astrology still works because it’s based on the Earth’s relationship to the Sun - not to the contellations.
